Steve is our investment strategist and assists our clients in making investment decisions for their portfolios that are compatible with their financial objectives. A student of history, Steve has always been fascinated by how culture and economics have come to affect the world at large through the centuries. He was attracted to the financial industry at a young age and attended UMass Amherst for a BA in finance, much due to his love of history, economics, and helping others. Visit his office on a typical day and you’ll find Steve reading and researching information on all our current funds, along with news on up and coming activity and trends in the markets. He takes his studies very seriously, focused on having current knowledge of the economic climate. Steve is a consistent communicator, investing significant time and effort creating well-timed audio and email updates about the economic landscape for our clients. He publishes a quarterly commentary podcast for clients where he discusses and reflects on the prior quarter and performance.
In 2000, Steve discovered TWC when he and his wife Lana were looking for a change of scenery in their life. Moving to Boulder from the Boston area, he became co-owner of TWC, having immediately fallen in love with the environment and the work that Myra was doing with her clients. He saw that it was a place with great personal growth potential, and, many years later, he continues to learn and evolve with each client interaction.
