Heidi started her financial planning career at The Wealth Conservancy several years ago when she was ready for a next act. She was at a stage in life of having made many big financial decisions in the past but yet when many key decisions still lay ahead to be made. Reflecting upon how critical the ability to effectively manage financial life is to people’s well-being in all life stages, she got inspired to focus on a career in financial planning.
One of Heidi’s favorite aspects of working at The Wealth Conservancy is getting to know each of our clients and the personal stories and experiences that shape their perspectives on money.
In the decade before she entered the field, Heidi spent most of her time being an active parent of two daughters. During this time, she also co-founded a local Boulder nonprofit called Salute Colorado that supports high-performing veterans in their transition to civilian careers. In 2024, Salute Colorado celebrated 10 years in service of veterans. Prior to that, Heidi had a career in the corporate sector during the early dotcom years.
In addition to being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Heidi earned both her MBA and BA degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.
When she’s not at work, you will find her enjoying time with her husband and daughters, trying new recipes, absorbed in a good book, hiking the many trails in Boulder and beyond or spending time with friends.
