The United States Parcel Service recently implemented a new way for you to stay informed about what should be arriving in your mailbox or on your front porch. The new service is called “Informed Delivery,” and USPS has been rolling it out to areas across the country.
One of the best parts of the service is that it’s free! Go to https://informeddelivery.usps.com to get started and see if your address is eligible. If it is, you can create and verify your account and begin taking advantage of Informed Delivery’s services.
- Preview your incoming, letter-sized mail scheduled to arrive soon.
- Check the delivery status and arrival schedule for packages.
- Leave delivery instructions if you won’t be home to accept a package (or reschedule a delivery you missed).
- Set up and manage email and/or text notifications for tracking.
- Download the free app available from Microsoft, Google Play, and Apple to take Informed Delivery with you wherever you go.
